Unsolicited e-Mail or spam, is an increasing problem for internet users and webmasters, wasting 
productive time it takes to evaluate and delete.

One way users receives spam-mail is that,  "e-mail harvester software robots" search web pages for e-mail addresses, collect all e-mail addresses found into a database, and then start sending spam e-mail to them.

If you need to post a link to your e-mail address on a web site you can stop spammers at their source.  Encode your e-mail address to HEX code and put the HEX encoded value into your "mailto:" link. The spammer's software will, in 99.9% of all cases, not recognize the HEX code as an e-mail address, thus it will not be able use the link for spamming you, while your site visitors will still be able to use it like any other link.
